New York City is one of the most iconic cities in the world. From Times Square to its beautiful skyline, NYC is great to visit almost anytime of the year. Maybe not in the winter since it’s freezing, but you catch my drift. The hustle and bustle gives many people the drive and passion to go after their dreams. Here’s a list of reasons why NYC should be on your travel list if it isn’t yet.
Museums on Museums
New York has an amazing collection of museums and exhibitions for people of all ages. Many expand into other boroughs such as Brooklyn or Queens. A few museums and exhibits I’ve visited so far include “The Museum of Sex,” “The Museum of Illusions” and “The Color Factory.” These 3 places are great for millennials looking for cool moments to capture while witnessing dope art. If you’re looking for modern art, check out the MOMA!
If you ask 10 people from NYC if they’ve ever driven before, chances are about half of them haven’t. If you live in New York City, there’s no real reason to drive. The traffic is ridiculous and moves slow during most days. The subway makes a good choice when it comes to saving money and time. Time is our most prized possession. Choosing the convenience of the subway gets you to your destination faster than a Lyft, Uber or Taxi ever would.
New York City houses many iconic places thousands of tourists come to visit each year. Each of these places make NYC special in its own way because of the history and value it holds. Some of these landmarks include:
- World Trade Memorial
- Statue of Liberty
- Times Square
- Central Park
- Ellis Island
These are just a few reasons to stop by and visit New York City. Everyone should go at least once to see what the hype is about. Go find out why it’s the city that never sleeps! I’m sure you’ll be up all night.
